Blueberry Bake-off

The Blueberry Bake-off is your chance to show off your baking talents! No pre-registration is necessary. Bring your baked goods between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM. The judging will begin at 3:00 PM. The winners will be announced at the main stage after judging. Samples of the baked goods will be available to purchase with all proceeds benefiting Special Wish Foundation.

Rules

1. Categories will be:

• Pies
• Breads & Muffins
• Other deserts

2. A written recipe must accompany entry with name, address, and phone number.

3. Entries must be turned in between the hours of 2 pm - 4 pm on Saturday, August 18th, 2007.

4. Winners will be notified on Monday, Augist 20th 2007 and posted at the blueberry counter at The Blueberry Patch

5. Entries become the property of The Blueberry Patch once submitted. Containers can be picked up at the bluebery counter beginning Monday, August 20th.

6. Submission of your recipe authorizes its use in future Blueberry Patch publications.

8. Employees of The Blueberry Patch and their families are may not enter the Blueberry Bake-Off.

9. Servings of Bake-Off entries will be available immediately following the bake-off for $2 donation August 18. Proceeds will go to a local charity.

10. Entries will be judged on Taste (40%), Appearance (30%), and Originality (30%).

11. Entries should contain at least 8-10 servings each.

12. Prizes - a first prize will be awarded in each category.

• 1st prize: $20 gift certificate and a 6 lb bucket of blueberries
• Grand prize: $50 gift certificate awarded to the best entry overall
• Limit of one prize per person
