Blueberry Bash

Thank you to all of our participants, sponsors and winners. Blueberry bash had a fantastic year and there was tons of audience participation. We would like to thank Home Savings for sponsoring our nail painting and bracelet making stations and for their prize donations. A hearty thanks goes out to the Lexington Senior Center for making the pies for our pie eating contest. And thank you to the Blueberry Patch for donating the blueberries for our blueberry spitting contest and our stomp competition. Also our food vendors so generously donated gift certificates to our winners and I believe the winners grately appreciated those!

This family fun event wouldn't be possible without the families that dive into the fun whether it be by means of participating or cheering loved ones on. Hopefully you will come back next year and bring others to compete in our family fun event!

Games and stations will be from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM and Blueberry Stomp will run from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. This year there will be the following fun filled competitions for children:

     Bubble Blowing Contest
     Blueberry Stomp Competition  (Teams of two)
     Pie Eating Contest
     Hula Hoop Contest
     Blueberry Spitting Contest

Parents: The Bubble Blowing Contest uses whip cream and the Blueberry Stomp Competition will be stomping blueberries barefoot.  Expect the participants to possibly get their clothes dirty.
