Blueberry Idol

Time: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

The fourth annual Blueberry Idol will be held this year from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm on Sunday, August 22nd. We are looking for individuals that would like to perform on our stage in a family fun competition! All applications are subject to limited space, time availability and weather conditions. There are three categories this year with two winners per category:

• 12 and under
• 13-17
• 18 and older

There will be Judges' Pick winners and Audience Choice winners for each category. The Judges' Pick winners will win a plaque and $50.00, and the Audience Choice winners will receive a trophy. There will be three adult judges this year that are musically active and known throughout the community. The audience can vote for their favorite for 50 cents per vote.

The entry fee is $5 for individuals and $10 for groups. Any performer under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the liability waiver. Click here to print out the registration form and waiver of liability. Bring the registration form, waiver, and the entry fee to the contest. All applications and dues need to be turned into Katie Getz, The Blueberry Patch
or Lexington’s Village Hall by August 16th, 2010.

The winners of each category (Judges Pick and Audience Choice) will be invited to repeat their performance at 6:00 PM on Sunday, August 22nd.
