Scottish Highland Games
Date: Saturday and Sunday, August 16th & 17th
Location: North Plymouth Street (Lexington-Springmill Road)

Sat: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Sun: 10:00 AM
On Saturday there will be competition in three classes (no training on Saturday, only competition). On Sunday there will be open training lessons at 10:00 AM for anybody interested.
Events:
- Braemar Stone (22# rock from a flat footed stand)
- Stone (16# rock with a slight run before throwing)
- Heavy Weight for Distance (56# for the Amateur’s and 42# for the light weight class and Masters)
- Light Weight for Distance (28# weight for all classes)
- Heavy hammer (22# hammer)
- Caber toss (Gaelic for "tree")
- Weight over Bar (56# for the Amateur’s and 42# for the light weight class and Masters)
